Scouts (10.5-14)

Jump in and get muddy. Give back and get set. Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it, and soon so will you.

Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 10 ½ to 14 who:

  • Master new skills and try new things
  • Make friends for life
  • Have fun and go on adventures, in the local area and talk to people all over the world
  • Explore and learn about the world around them
  • Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond

Week in and week out, the Scouts gather in groups called Troops to gain skills for life!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
